Event Requests
Are you a Local Author that would like to celebrate the launch of their book with family, friends and colleagues? Would you like to host a private book club, workshop, or get together? Are you a photographer looking to do photo sessions with clients? Reserve our bookstore for your private use!
These events are completely planned, hosted and marketed by you so you have complete control over how your event is handled.

Details
Furniture available for use (free of charge):
Up to thirty (30) foldable chairs
Smart TV with Chromecast to cast PowerPoints, slideshows, etc.
One arm chair
Two dining chairs
Up to four (4) 6ft foldable tables
Up to ten (10) stools for children
We will prepare an area inside of our bookstore for you in the layout of your choice.
We typically do not close our bookstore for private events, however if you'd like to have complete privacy, we can accommodate you on specific dates/times.
You may take photos and record video.
If you're a Local Author planning a Book Launch, Q&A, Book Signing, etc., we will provide a Local Author Event package to help you plan, market and set up your event.
You keep 100% of sale proceeds from all book sales and merchandise sales. You are responsible for taking payment for these items (i.e. via a QR code, Paypal, Square reader, etc).
Availability
Weekdays: The room can be reserved on weekdays (Tuesday-Friday) between the hours of 11-8pm, for up to two hours. PLEASE NOTE: Our in-store Book Club meetings are typically held on the last 5 days of the month starting at 5PM.
Weekends: If you’d prefer a weekend event, there is very limited availability as we tend to have more foot traffic and we typically host Store Events during these days, but we may make an exception depending on the type of event being proposed and availability. Reservation Fees
Note: If you are hosting a book club or book meet up of four (4) attendees or more, you may waive the fee(s) below if you purchase books for your event with us. Books must be purchased at least two weeks before your event. Attendees will receive our Book Club Member discount when they make their purchase.
Reservation Fees are nonrefundable and must be paid at least two weeks before your event is held or your event will be cancelled.
Weekday Event - $29 nonrefundable fee to be paid in advance to reserve our back room for up to two (2) hours.
Weekend Event - $39 nonrefundable fee to be paid in advance to reserve our back room for up to two (2) hours. Subject to Availability
