Author Events

We love working with Authors! The demand for Author Events at our bookstore has grown as word spreads of who we are and what we offer here at Spellbound. We are so grateful for this growth and hope that it continues in the future, however we are not able to fulfill all requests for Author Events. Therefore, we have come up with a process for Author Events that will satisfy most requests. Please note: We plan for Author Events months in advance and spots fill up quickly, so make sure to reach out with at least 2 months notice!

Local Author Events

Meet & Greets

During a Meet & Greet, Authors are set up with a table and chair inside of our store for two (2) hours. Guests can drop by during this time to meet the Author and purchase books. Authors bring copies of their books and are encouraged to bring merchandise and signage. Authors take payments at their table and keep 100% of all sale proceeds. There is a non-refundable reservation fee of $25.00 and sign-ups are required in advance. Click here to apply for a Meet & Greet.

Book Fairs

Our Book Fairs are a great way to meet new customers! Book Fairs are typically indoor at our location or off-site. Authors pay a reservation fee and share a table with another author for 3 hours. Authors keep 100% of all sale proceeds. We reach out to Authors for these events, as they are sometimes themed by genre. Author Q&A / Book Signing Events

Throughout the year we host authors in our store for Q&A + Book Signing events. These events are hosted and managed by us and are typically planned months in advance.
