For Authors

Thanks for your interest in either stocking your book with us or hosting an in-store event here at Spellbound Bookstore! Below is information regarding how we stock books, local author programs, and options for Author Events at our store.

Author Events

• Meet & Greets | This is a great option for Authors who want to meet new readers! We schedule Meet & Greets on Saturday or Sunday during our busiest days of the week. Authors are set up with a table and chair inside of our store for two (2) hours on either Saturday or Sunday. Authors bring copies of their books and are welcome to bring merch. • Q&A + Book Signing Events | We typically reach out to Authors for events in-store, according to what our customer base likes to read and emerging trends. These events are hosted and managed by us and are typically planned months in advance. If you'd like to be considered for a future Author Event with us, please email us.

Stocking Books With Us

• Self-Published / Small Press Authors (not in Florida): If a book sounds like it would be a great fit for us and our customers, we typically purchase a few copies for the store. Your book must be available on Ingram at the industry discount (40% discount) and priced comparable to other titles of the genre. If you would like us to stock your book, please email us the ISBN along with a short summary of your book, genre, release date, and the publisher (if you've already done this, please disregard). 

• Self-Published Local Authors: We have a Local Author Book Consignment Program, which is an arrangement between independently and/or self-published Florida authors and Spellbound Bookstore to sell titles on our Local Authors Shelf for a specific period. We accept applications on an on-going basis. All of the details for the program and the application can be found here.
